桂花巷名稱的由來相傳是南庄民意機關的公務員,中午用餐時間到這個巷內的小吃店公事與閒話家常,由於巷內隱密性較好，往後，到此用餐小飲幾杯就以,桂花巷稱暗號。後來由南庄國小一位老師發起命名為,桂花巷,因此我們的蛋捲就加入桂花下去攪拌後再做成蛋捲,落實地方名稱,店面的旁邊又 有一棵十幾年的桂花樹,因此命名為桂花蛋捲。
