樂活海洋命名源自於 LOHAS ( Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability )，期望讓人們透過帆船與海洋連結，在航海生活中非常符合樂活概念：讓生命 ( Lifestyles ) 充滿「健康的飲食、生活、身心靈的探索與個人成長 ( Health )」與「生態永續的精神 ( Sustainability )」。
直到2012年，團隊的能力成熟，並經過ASA認證成立了樂活海洋國際航海學校。與高等教育的推廣並行，我們也開始推動社會教育，夢想著更積極地普及帆船航海教育。致力於讓重型帆船這個富含綠色環保、海洋意識、品味格調與團隊合作內涵的活動，成為最新興的休閒運動。
本團隊致力於將專業的重型帆船教育引入運動休閒高等教育體系中。因為，遊艇與帆船的專業服務，是海洋休閒活動的極致表現，必須往下紮根，積極培養年輕的專業人才。
