OBSIDIAN 黑曜石，是以高品質與精湛的手藝，製作皮鞋、休閒鞋、運動鞋的品牌. 創辦人成長於彰化縣鹿港鎮，一個製鞋業的中心，具備眾多文化、古蹟的環境；在一個偶然的機會，與一群製鞋業的菁英，具有豐富經驗的師傅聚會，聊起過去台灣鞋業界的輝煌景象 ，台灣曾獲得『製鞋王國』的美譽，卻因產業外移等因素下，導致鞋業榮景不再，而製鞋是一項百年老業，尤其強調手工的精緻性與技藝性，於是創辦人決定重新集結這些菁英，培養新一代的力量，將台灣鞋藝的經驗與精神傳承下去，並於2015年在台灣鹿港設立鞋廠，成立屬於我們的MIT品牌，OBSIDIAN 黑曜石。
