亞洲大學之辦學宗旨為遵循世界衛生組織積極推動「全民生理、心理與社會健康」之理念，配合國家衛生政策規劃、健康產業發展、醫療衛生機構管理之需求，培養優秀健康照護人才，滿足國人從幼到老不斷高漲的健康照護需求。本校為霧峰在地大學，期盼能改善霧峰當地，及鄰近烏日區、南投縣草屯、竹山、彰化芬園等區域，醫資源長期不足問題。本院為地上9層、地下2層大樓，包括急性一般病床350床、及加護病床、亞急性呼吸照護病床、血液透析病床等各類特殊病床132床，總病床數482床。
