1989年10月6日創立時，為台灣第一家藥師親自執業的連鎖藥局。全體藥師以道德、專業、親切、服務的形象，深獲顧客的信賴。故取名躍獅 YES，與藥師同音。二十多年來，始終在社區中扮演健康守護者的角色，深耕社區，伴隨許多鄰舍一同邁向健康成長之路。
2012年8月，擴大經營版圖，與深耕亞洲社區的英屬維京群島商Zuellig裕利醫藥集團攜手結合，本著過去二十多年在地豐厚的藥局專業經驗，再加上Zuellig裕利醫藥集團九十多年的醫藥行銷經驗，成為第一個深耕全亞洲的社區藥局，躍獅最大的使命就是將健康帶給大家；提供顧客及家庭專業、個性化、細心照護的服務；希望透過更先進的專業培訓、更強大的醫藥行銷網、成為亞洲人民心目中第一名的社區藥局。
