General information
地震教育園區隸屬國立自然科學博物館(科博館)，展館包括車籠埔斷層保存館、地震工程教育館、影像紀錄館、防災教育館、重建記錄館。園區藉由原臺中霧峰光復國中運動場車籠埔斷層地質、毀壞教室等921集集大地震(1999 CHI-CHI EARTHQUAKE)遺址的保存，希望能從認識地震的自然現象開始，進而瞭解地震與人類社會的關係，加強防災的觀念，並且記取此教訓。
