海鮮店的貨源多為龜山島海域的現撈海產，因此特別的新鮮美味。約每日下午三點一過，漁船便紛紛入港，除了一些商家會到批貨外，也有些識途的客人會到此零買。這裡最聞名的更新海產店，除了歷史最久外，其美味的招牌菜（莧菜魚勿仔魚羹）及堤防雅座也是吸引人潮之處。
