夏潮基金會，成立於一九九六年，定期舉辦台灣大學生冬夏令營及兩岸青年學生交流活動、贊助兩岸學術團體之學術研究、贊助大陸學人短期研訪、不定期舉辦兩岸、島內之相關課題學術研討會、出版學術論文集及不定期刊物、贊助符合本會宗旨之相關團體及活動。創立宗旨是以提昇中華文化品質，協助與促進海峽兩岸之文化、體育、學術、大專院校青年學生、教師及傑出經貿人士等之互訪交流活動為主。
