General information
「埔里百香果」位於南投縣埔里鎮大坪頂區，由於氣候環境因素，及
長期致力於栽種技術的改良，確保百香果的生產品質，造就埔里鎮成為全台百香果栽
種最密集、品質最佳的專業生產區，產量占全台九成，故有「百香果的故鄉」之稱。
為確保百香果品質，以避免病蟲害，埔里果農採一年生種植法，也就是每年產季
結束之後，就將百香果植株砍除，再於農曆年前重新栽植。由於所收成的百香果，品
質甚佳，長期除供應國內果菜市場大、中盤商或食品廠商外，還做成百香果原汁、外銷日本小琉球與世界各地。
